Didukung oleh bangsa Arya (Indo-Jerman). Bangsa Arya yang ingin menguasai dan menyingkirkan bangsa Dravida beserta kebudayaannya. Bangsa Arya menjuluki bangsa Dravida dengan sebutan "Annasa" (hampir tak berhidung) dan menganggap bangsa Dravida rendah.

Mereka membentuk daerah yang disebut Hindustan. Tetapi bangsa Dravida dibedakan dari bangsa Arya dengan pembagian kasta. (Kasta sudra yang kebanyakan dari golongan Dravida).

Orang yang melanggar peraturan kasta, akan dikeluarkan dari kastanya sendiri. Adapun kasta Paria, kasta yang tidak diterima di kalangan masyarakat (golongan tunawisma). Oleh Mahatma Gandhi, tokoh nasionalis di India, kasta Paria disebut "Candala".
